Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account: an email address and password, if you create a full account.
• Profile: a nickname (must be unique) and a country code.
• Gameplay: your scores, match results, and head-to-head records.
• Language preference, stored in your browser.
• Analytics data, only if you allow analytics cookies (see below).

We do not ask for your real name, phone number, address, or payment details. There are no purchases in Worrrrld!.

Playing as a guest

You can play without giving an email by using a guest account. A guest account still gets a nickname, a country code, and a stored gameplay record, so your results can appear to the people you play against. If you later create a full account, your existing record carries over.

What other people can see

Worrrrld! is built around comparing results with friends, so parts of your data are public by design. The following are visible to anyone, including people who are not logged in:

• Your nickname and country.
• Your scores and match results.
• Your win/loss record against a specific player, on head-to-head pages.

When a challenge or a head-to-head record is shared as a link, we generate a preview image containing the nicknames and scores involved. Messaging apps and social networks fetch and cache that image, so it can be visible to anyone who receives the link.

Please choose a nickname you are comfortable showing publicly. Do not use your full real name if you would rather stay anonymous.

Why we use it

• To run matches and decide the result.
• To keep your record, streaks, and head-to-head history.
• To show leaderboards.
• To understand which channels bring new players, if you allow analytics.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser storage for two things:

• Essential: your login session and your language preference. These are required for the app to work and are always on.
• Analytics: Google Analytics cookies. These are off until you allow them, and you can change your choice at any time in Settings.

If you allow analytics, Google Analytics may collect a cookie identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and basic device and browser information. If you decline, we do not load Google Analytics at all.

Who processes your data

• Supabase: database and authentication.
• Vercel: hosting and content delivery.
• Google Analytics: usage analytics, only with your consent.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep your profile and match history while your account exists, because removing one player's results would change the recorded outcome for their opponents.

You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing worrrrld@kolee.kr. You can also ask us for a copy of the data associated with your account.

Age

Worrrrld! is not intended for children under 13. If the country you live in sets a higher minimum age for this kind of service, that higher age applies. If you believe a child under that age has created an account, contact us and we will remove it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
